Meet the Weavers
We are Doug and Michelle Weaver, the Owners and Operators of Blue Ridge Travel Park. We were each drawn to Western North Carolina due to our respective outdoor passions — white water kayaking for Doug, and hiking/backpacking for Michelle. This area is a wonderful home base for us and we love being able to share the area with our guests.
When we aren’t working or enjoying the local area, we love to spend time with family, travel, hike, ski, and try new recipes. We are so lucky to be able to raise our daughter, Nora, at the campground. We look forward to sharing our many outdoor passions with her. You’ll probably see her around the campground carrying her baby doll and collecting rocks, riding her bike, or helping deliver firewood with the wheelbarrow.
We work hard to make Blue Ridge Travel Park a safe, enjoyable place for our guests and hope they will return again and again to enjoy all that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.
