FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • What is an extended stay? An Extended Stay is a stay of 1 month or longer.

  • Do you have specific RV requirements? Yes. All RVs must be:

    • RVIA certified (no homemade campers)

    • 10 years old or newer

    • in good repair & fully functional

    • self-contained (a full bathroom — our bathhouse is closed)

    • insured, with proof of current insurance.

  • What is the cost? Base rate + utilities. Our base rate is tiered.

    • start date Off-season: January, February, March or December 2024

      • $650 through March

      • $750 April on

    • start date Peak Season: April through November 2024

      • Month 1-3: $825.

      • Month 4 on: $750

  • What do you mean by base rate? The base rate includes up to 2 adults, 2 children, 2 pets, and 1 vehicle. Additional guests have additional monthly charges. For reservations with more than one related adult, one additional vehicle is included dependent upon parking availability.

  • What do you pay when you make a reservation? The first month plus any additional people/pets/trailers. This is non-refundable.

  • How does billing work after the first payment? Please read the Billing tab of the Extended Stay Policies.

  • What if my end date changes? No problem. We understand plans change. But we need you to understand that we have to coordinate our future availability using the information provided to us by current guests. Changing your reservation potentially affects other reservations. For this reason, we request as much advance notice as possible.

    • What if my end date changes after the bill has gone out or I have paid?: Bills are due in full upon receipt. We do not refund. (Example: You paid for all of April but will now be leaving April 19 — no refund.)

    • What if I learn my upcoming end date prior to the next bill?: We can adjust your next bill. We do not prorate at the monthly rate. Depending on your departure date you can either pay the monthly rate and leave early, or pay a weekly/nightly rate for the remaining days. The weekly rate is available only to Extended Stay guests and is equal to the current weekly rate minus one weekday night. Nightly rates are current nightly rates. (Example: Your cycle date is the 15th. You tell us on April 10th that you will be leaving April 19. We can adjust your bill to one weekly rate for April 10-17 and two nightly rates for April 17-19.)

    • What if I want to stay longer than my current reservation end date?: We will do our best to extend your reservation if possible. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can rearrange incoming reservations if need-be. It is possible you will have to change sites.

  • Do you have internet? Yes and no. On-site internet is NOT reliable and cannot be used for streaming. Guests requiring internet for school or work need another internet option. Self-Pay, no-contract, independently-arranged internet through a local carrier (Optimum) is an option. Hot spots also work well.

  • Do you have good cell service? Yes. 5G.

  • What are your policies? We are glad you asked. To make sure our campground is the right fit for you, please read our Extended Stay Policies page. We know, it’s long — it has to be.

  • Is there anything else I should know? Two things we like to make sure potential guests noticed on our Rules and Regulations page are that we are a smoke-free property and guests must receive mail and have a legal residence elsewhere.

I’ve read this whole page, read the Policies, and am excited about Blue Ridge Travel Park. How do I make my reservation? Please fill out this mandatory form and we will be in touch ASAP. All Extended Stay reservations must be made over the phone.
